We work together with many local authorities, waste management companies and utilities supplying an extensive range of waste and recycling solutions including office waste bins, home composters and water butts. Our customers also include corporate businesses, facilities management companies, hospitals and educational facilities.
We are totally committed to our customers and through a development programme of continuous improvement we have maintained our position at the forefront of the waste and recycling industry. We have continued to grow pushing boundaries forward with innovative designs and quality products coupled with competitive prices and outstanding levels of customer service.
To date, we have supplied more than 12 million kerbside recycling boxes to local authorities across the country. Through the Blackwall brand we have also delivered over 3.5 million environmental garden products, such as home compost bins and water butts, directly to end users by working in partnership with local authorities and utilities.
Swale BCThe Inner Caddy is perfect as it allows us to separate glass from the other materials. It takes up less space on the kerbside and as all recyclables will be collected on the same day it reduces the environmental and financial impacts
- Alan Turner, Cleansing Services Manager for Swale Borough Council
Nottingham CC We considered various container options for our glass collection, including an additional wheeled bin and a separate box. However, the Inner Caddy offers a number of health and safety benefits including reducing the amount of manual handling by collection crews.
The Caddy also enables residents to easily pre-sort their materials without taking up additional space.
On top of this, we are able to collect the glass and other materials in a single collection utilising a split bodied vehicle.
- Alan Windust, Project Manager for Nottingham City Council
Bradford MDCThe recycling insert scheme has proved popular because it allows residents to recycle a range of materials without the need for separate bins.
The council looks set to achieve its recycling target of 25% of household waste this year, which is encouraging, meaning even less waste is going to landfill.
- Ian Bairstow, Assistant Director for Waste and Street Scene for Bradford Metropolitan District Council
Hinckley and The consensus is that the new 23 litre Kerbside Caddy is a high quality product in terms of design, locking and ease of cleaning.
- Kevin Taylor, Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council
AberdeenshireThe Kerbside Caddy offers an excellent solution for food waste collections.
There are lots of food waste containers on the market, but the Kerbside Caddy has been designed to an exceptional standard and is one of the strongest containers we've seen.
The product also takes into account all of our requirements and has clearly been developed with health and safety guidelines in mind.
The scheme was originally due to be rolled out in early January; however, we decided to postpone the start date of the collection to wait for the launch of the Caddy.
- Matt Davis, Waste Strategy Officer for Aberdeenshire Council
NewcastleWe are extremely pleased with our Recycling Modules and Colour Coded Bins and have already placed a further order.
- Sarah Boulger, Waste Manager for Newcastle University
Hull CityWe chose the Recycle Station because it allowed us to integrate paper and cardboard into our existing kerbside collection and get the most out of our existing kerbside vehicles.
Feedback from both residents and collection crews has been extremely positive as the recyclables are pre-sorted by the residents, which makes it much easier for the crews.
- James Ward, Sustainable Waste Manager for Hull City Council
National LibraryThe introduction of the Slim Jim containers is an ideal solution to reducing the amount of waste that we send to landfill and has encouraged staff and visitors to recycle more.
Feedback regarding the recycling containers has been good and this has been further demonstrated by the number of people using them.
- Andrew Williams, Attendant Services Manager for the National Library of Wales
