RECYCLE STATION

The Recycle Station is an innovative solution which has been developed in consultation with the UK local authority sector. The system is designed to improve quality of source separated material and reduce the reliance on expensive downstream sorting processes.

The unique combination of a 38 litre top tray, kerbside boxes and optional divider slots allows up to seven different material streams to be sorted out and separated by the householder.

The Recycle Station uses the proven wheeled bin solution to offer protection from damage and the elements, whilst also providing ease of handling for both operators and domestic users.

Shipping is also possible unassembled with the shelf assembly slotting securely into place in seconds.

The modified 240 litre wheeled bin body houses any combination of 44 or 55 litre box, both ergonomic handle (shown here below) and continuous rim handle (shown on top).

FEATURES

Wheeled bin body The Ecomax 240 litre wheeled bin outer casing is manufactured using state-of-the-art production equipment and to the strict quality requirements of the European Standard EN 840. This strong and robust wheeled bin features a double azle support feature, ensuring that each side of the axle is secured by two retaining walls. It's ribbed reinforced ring supports the base and the sculpted double wall links the hinge arm to the lid keeping the bin resistant to damage.
Top tray The 38 litre top tray sits in the top aperture of the wheeled bin allowing ready access for collecting one material stream. The ergonomic full rounded handles make the top tray easily removable even when wearing gloves.
Kerbside boxes The Recycle Station is designed to be compatible with our full range of kerbside boxes, but is also compatible with many other standard containers on the market.


OPTIONS

Colour The standard Recycle Station shell is green, however other colours are often available on request. The kerbside boxes are available in a variety of colours, please contact us for details.
Custom graphics Straight plc offers a complete graphic package from origination to multi coloured graphics. Customised graphics and a serial number can be hot foil stamped or moulded onto the lid of the wheeled bin outer.
Kerbside boxes Graphics can be printed in a variety of colours or moulded into the different kerbside boxes within the Recycle Station.
Top tray Full round insert handles which can be colour coded or feature mould-in text. A large logo plate for graphics is also located in the centre of the tray.
Snap-in divider Using multiple divider positions integral to our boxes, one or two snap-in dividers allow source separated waste to be collected in a single kerbside container. Within the Recycle Station, dividers allow source separation of up to seven different material streams.
